Robert Webb
Keyboards/Vocals/Lyrics
Robert Webb
Pianist, jazz educator, performer and composer; Robert has never ceased music-making. His career since the first release of England's Garden Shed album (1977), on which he was vocalist and keyboard player, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/England_(band) has covered many musical styles. From baroque and renaissance early music groups (Quintus, The Bacchus Ensemble), via dance bands (Oliver Twist), melodic rock (Jenny Darren, https://open.spotify.com/track/2urmG48X5TSlfZq7r9sonX), to vocal arrangements for choirs https://music.apple.com/ca/album/the-good-choir-songbook/1578433453.
Since the turn of the millennium Robert has continued with his interest in progressive rock. The internet has enabled him to contribute to several exciting bands; The Samurai of Prog (The Imperial Hotel, https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=306150433478190), XII Alfonso, and Band of Rain (Petrichor, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9xZLtriR08, and in 2021, The Sun King, https://bandofrain.bandcamp.com/album/the-sun-king).
